Tall and thin. Short and pudgy. There are coffee mugs of all kinds from various vendors. Each office has its unique collection, depending on the generosity of its vendors and other business associates.
A Minnesota company found in its offices over 18,000 promotional items including mugs, paper pads and pens! What did they do with than many advertising pieces?
The Duluth, MN company plans to ship the the products of their purge to west Africa, according to a recent newspaper article.
Personally, I have my favorites among my accumulation of mugs. When the mugs exceed their allotted space, I sort the ones I like the best to keep. The others have a chance at a new life when they are donated to a resale shop. Perhaps they will find happiness as pencil holders or flower pots.

Another way to not accumulate promotional mugs is to not take them when they are offered to you. A polite no thank you works wonders. This also works for other items offered by vendonrs and shows and fairs.
